Various forest zones, such as those dedicated to the plants of Catalpa, Camphor Trees, Teak and Pine, are all well preserved in the park. With a forest coverage percentage up to 90, the park is densely wooded, creating an environment full of pure, fresh air.
Lofty hills, flourishing woods and gentle breezes make it an ideal summer escape. Tourists can also find a lot of wild animals, including squirrels, pangolins, owls, pheasants, thrushes, hedgehogs, roes, hares and weasels.
Historical relics are also scattered throughout Guiyang Forest Park. For instance, there is a monument to commemorate the international medical team that helped Chinese people during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
